Llys Glyndwr: A Creative Response to the Court of Owain Glyndwr
In 2025, Dan collaborated with Gruffydd Aled Williams and Rhun Emlyn; two leading Welsh medieval historians, on a new publication that explored the lives of the supporters of the last Tywysog Cymru: Owain Glyndwr. Until now, little has been written about these distant figures that made Owain's uprising possible. Dan made 19 portraits of these figures and 20 leading poets responded with new poems for each.

Totems to the Charter: Magna Carta 1225
To celebrate 800 years of the Charter of the Forest in 1225, a crucial appendix to the Magna Carta and the very first piece of environmental law, four newly commissioned paintings by Dan Llywelyn Hall will feature in an exhibition at the Society of Antiquaries of Burlington House, London, as part of Magna Carta 1225: 800th Anniversary Exhibition.
The prints can be viewed in the shop proceeds supports TREES FOR LIFE & TREES FOR CITIES and the research projects at Society of Antiquaries.

Celf Coast Cymru 10
In 2022 the Wales Coast Path celebrated its 10th anniversary. Dan was commissioned to curate the visual arts responding to the coast. His personal series of paintings, explored the South Wales coastal stretch and collaborated with the National Poet of Wales, Hanan Issa.
