A collaboration between poet Robert Minhinnick (whose Diary of the Last Man was shortlisted for the TS Eliot Prize in 2017 and won Wales Book of the Year in 2018) and artist Dan Llywelyn Hall, The Dunes explores the Merthyr Mawr Dunes in South Wales, an area of beauty and both archeological and ecological significance. Poet and artist approach the subject with fascinating insights, exploring its myths & mysteries, flora and fauna and the vast archaeological finds that lay beneath the sand, dating back to the Iron Age.
